I am writing this as my first blog post on the power of planning. I am not sure what this is likely to evolve into and I\u2019m not expecting anything other than to improve my own planning in the meantime. Hopefully, I can use this as a resource to reflect on and improve my efficiency when trying to get through my to-do lists in my personal and professional life.<\/p>\n
I think I already have a good planning and time management system, much better than the average, but I think there is still much room for improvement. I\u2019d also like to put this claim to the test, by challenging myself to take on bigger personal projects whilst still finding time for my relationships and hobbies and ensuring I don\u2019t take life or work seriously.<\/p>\n
I hope to come away with some key principles that can allow for effective and efficient planning. Efficiency or effectiveness without the other is pointless and is a trap that I believe is all too easy to fall into. I\u2019d also like to touch on brainstorming and how to ideate efficiently and effectively. This is something I often struggle with and spend longer than I believe necessary or reasonable.<\/p>\n
I have many thoughts constantly on what leads to proper planning and currently plan my week consistently. My hope is I can make better sense of my process and map this out in a more sophisticated way, that can allow for continuous improvement.<\/p>\n
Already added to the to-do list for this week is to improve my writing. I can\u2019t tell if it\u2019s just because it\u2019s 11 pm on a Wednesday evening and I\u2019m tired, but all the above sounds like it was written by a robot. Hopefully, future blog posts have a bit more life in them.<\/p>\n
